Description
These neodymium magnet systems have a metric internal thread and can be screwed onto objects having a matching external thread. The rubber coating protects delicate surfaces from scratches and, at the same time, increases the load capacity in shear direction.
The rubber protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. Permanent outdoor use, however, may lead to the formation of rust. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.
Compared to the standard pot magnets without rubber casing, these rubberised magnet systems have a lower height and can therefore be used more discreetly. Underneath the rubber coating is a steel plate with 6 integrated magnets. These are aligned with alternating upward-facing north and south poles. As a result, you can combine these magnet systems with one another. But please be careful! Once two of these magnet systems make full and flush contact with each other, it will be very difficult to separate them again.
Please note: This magnet system has a full-length internal thread, requiring extra care when threading screws, hooks and the like to prevent damage to the rubber coating.
The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and complete flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets.
